This phrase is generally tagged onto the end of either the Shire theme or the "Rustic" Shire theme, at moments of high emotional feeling. Where the "Rustic" theme is about a pleasant place to live, and the Shire theme is about the place you want to go home to, the Expansive variant is about the place that makes your heart swell when you think about it. Appropriately, the musical phrase is a swelling sound with an upward leap.
